The 5’ Stop Sign was designed for use in parking lots and other areas not covered by statutory requirements. It is a flexible sign post for areas prone to occasional vehicle impacts.
The 5' Stop Sign comes standard with our patented anti-twist reactive spring system that will ensure the sign will stay in place after impact.

9'' high are the standard size for ground-mounted street name signs with speed limits higher than 25 mph.
The direct mount systen uses alumnium street name blades with a square post to make it the most vandal resistant street sign setup. We can install rivet/spacers to both sides or hardware sold separately.

Details
The Sta-Rite parking bollard traffic posts utilize reactive spring unit which allows the sign to withstand bumper hits and return to original position, without damaging the sign or vehicle. The aluminum sign post is available with an outer yellow bollard constructed of durable plastic which simulates a formidable concrete barrier for added conspicuity. The parking bollard also supplies additional protection in order to prevent any damage to the post. The 78” post is designed to place a handicap sign at 60” above ground level, per ADA specifications. The 102” post places the bottom of a 12” x 18” sign 7' above the surface, per MUTCD specification for pedestrian travel areas. The 102” sign comes in two peices for ease of shipping.
